TWNIC Community Grants 2026 – Now Open for Submissions!

To promote the comprehensive and sound development of the Internet in Taiwan, TWNIC is now accepting proposals for Internet-related projects. We invite all relevant organizations to participate and collaborate with TWNIC to further advance the development of the Internet in Taiwan.

This call for project solicitation focuses on proposals in the following four Internet-related scopes. Applicants are required to submit a proposal in one of these categories:

1. Internet Policy Research: Explore current Internet policies and Internet governance policy, and provide suggestions for improvements.
2. Internet Technology: Focus on the research and development of current Internet technologies to enhance their convenience, ubiquity, or sustainability in relation to network security.
3. Digital Equality and Opportunity: Address the current digital divide in remote areas or among disadvantaged groups in Taiwan, providing sufficient digital resources and capabilities.

• Application Period: From now until September 30, 2026.
  (Each organization may submit only one proposal.)
• Eligibility Criteria: The domestic and foreign legally registered entities, including companies, associations, non-profit organizations, and research or academic institutions.
• Subsidy Amount: Each project may receive a maximum subsidy of NT$1.5 million.
  (The actual subsidy amount will be determined after the review process.)
• Submission Method: Proposals must be submitted online via the official website (https://twgrants.tw). Applicants are required to upload the relevant documents and complete the submission process according to the instructions on the website by 11:59 PM on September 30, 2026. The submission time recorded by the system will be considered the official submission time.
