開放韓文、泰文、德文、法文IDN.tw網域名稱註冊服務

TWNIC原提供泛用型網域名稱服務語言包含英文、中文及日文，有鑑於全球域名國際化的註冊需求，2019年陸續推出了四個不同國家語系的IDN（Internationalized Domain Name）註冊服務。

1. 2019年6月18日起開放韓文、泰文IDN.tw網域名稱註冊服務。

2. 2019年9月17日起開放法文、德文IDN.tw網域名稱註冊服務。

對於關切相關消息，或是網站主要使用者為該語系的瀏覽者，使用IDN.tw網域名稱更有助於拉近網站的距離感。

Introducing Korean, Thai, German, and French IDN.tw registration services

The TWNIC originally provided English, Chinese, and Japanese internationalized domain names (IDNs). In 2019, the IDN registration service successively introduced four other languages:

1. Korean and Thai IDN.tw registration services began on June 18, 2019.

2. French and German IDN.tw registration services began on September 17, 2019.

To find relevant information in these languages, using IDN.tw as the domain name is beneficial for reducing difficulty in using the websites for users who use these languages.

Launching the “.tw to the world” brand promotion clip

The promotion clip presented a new definition to the domain name .tw—“to the world”—which aims to guide industries into various global networks.

The clip depicted the high capacity of several Taiwanese industries by using innovative yet conceptual words. From the depths of Taiwanese culture to design innovation and from traditional thoughts to technological creations, the clip unfolded the depth and value of Taiwan’s industries in detail.
