Taiwan School on Internet Governance
In the era of digital development, internet users express opinions on various issues and engage in interactive communication and discussions through the internet to gain more diverse perspectives from all over the world. Starting in 2020, the Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC), in fulfilling its social responsibility and upholding the concept of community co-ownership, co-governance, and co-sharing of the internet, has been promoting a forum belonging to Taiwan's internet community. Through this forum, important domestic and international issues related to internet technology, economy, society, and security are collectively addressed, creating an open space that accommodates diverse voices and exchanges.
The annual "Taiwan School on Internet Governance" (TWSIG) planning and implementation integrates and facilitates discussions among domestic internet communities on different internet governance public policy issues. Working with our national internet community, we are building a platform for promoting internet public issues. Through TWSIG, we share new internet information and establish good interactions with relevant stakeholders from domestic and international community organizations. We hope that through the "Taiwan School on Internet Governance," we can integrate and promote discussions or advocacy on different internet governance public policy issues among domestic internet communities, and work with our national internet community to build a platform for promoting internet public issues that belongs to Taiwan.
We welcome proposals or topic recommendations from organizations or individuals from all sectors who are concerned about internet public policy issues.
