How to become a .tw Registrar

BE OUR REGISTRAR

TWNIC welcomes all interested parties to be our accredited registrar. To be a TWNIC accredited registrar, you must meet the requirements listed below.

Requirements

  • The followings are eligibility to apply for TWNIC registrar accreditation,
  • ICANN accredited registrar, or
  • A company duly incorporated under the competent laws and having a paid-in capital of at least New Taiwan Dollars 2,000,000, or
  • A juristic person or institute duly established under the competent laws and having a business related to Internet services.

Fees and Payments

Item Amount Note
Application Fee NTD 20,000 or USD 700 Application is one time, non-refundable payment to pay at the point of application; inclusive of a 5% Goods and Services Tax.
Annual Accreditation Fee (Software Maintenance & Technical Service fee) NTD 20,000 or USD 700 Non-refundable; inclusive of a 5% Goods and Services Tax.
Guaranty Deposit NTD 200,000 or USD 7,000 The guaranty deposit can be returned in accordance with the registrar agreement.
Fees for Domain Name service Payment for every registration, renewal, and/or other Domain Name services specified by TWNIC as in the registrar agreement. Such fees will be calculated and paid collected monthly.
